About Sheryl Lopin, LCSW-C

Baltimore Therapy Center

I believe each individual has the potential to work through life’s challenges. I view difficulties as opportunities in which our pain often signals something needs our attention so that we can address it, change and grow. I have a Master’s degree in Social Work from NYU. I’ve spent over ten years working with adults struggling with substance abuse issues. I then worked with adolescents and their families as well as couples. Whether it’s anxiety, depression, addiction, or relationship issues that are tripping people up, I believe there is a path forward for people to become the best version of themselves. I do not believe in a one size fits all approach to therapy. I use some CBT, Family systems theory and Attachment theory to help clients create a more meaningful way to achieve their goal. Therapy is a personal process that should result in insight empowerment and growth of the most important kind.
