Apollonian

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about Apollonian for therapists and patients.

What is Apollonian?

Apollonian is a practice management platform built for therapists. We handle out-of-network insurance reimbursement, client management, and between-session care — so therapists can focus on their patients instead of paperwork.

How does insurance reimbursement work?

When a therapist logs a session, we generate CMS-1500 forms and submit out-of-network insurance claims on behalf of their patients. Patients get reimbursed directly by their insurance company. Therapists don't need to deal with billing paperwork.

What are Activities?

Activities are therapeutic exercises that therapists assign to patients for between-session care. They include worksheets, journal prompts, interactive exercises, audio guides, and more. Clients complete them in the Apollonian app, and therapists can track progress from their dashboard. Activities are part of Apollonian Premium.

Is my data private and secure?

Yes. We take data privacy seriously. All data is encrypted, and we use HIPAA safeguards for handling protected health information. We do not sell personal data, and patient information is accessible only to their assigned therapist.

How much does Apollonian cost?

Apollonian is free for therapists — no subscription, no fees, no credit card required. Insurance claims are included with your client's Apollonian Premium plan.

Clients: check-ins with your therapist are free. Apollonian Premium (Activities, Journal and unlimited insurance reimbursement claims) is $25/mo or $192/yr. There is no free trial.

Is monitoring free for clients?

Yes. If your therapist connects you to Apollonian, daily check-ins, PHQ-9/GAD-7 questionnaires and crisis resources are free. Activities and Journal are part of Premium, which is optional.

What is a practice code?

A practice code connects your account to your therapist's practice. Enter it at sign-up or later in Settings. It doesn't change pricing or include a discount or trial.
